WTT leagues
This is our first time running World Team Tennis as a league. So captains and players must work together in this league to make sure the correct scoring rules are utilized.
USTA staff will not be present at these matches, so please read the rules ahead of time. (once you play it, it’s pretty easy.)
But the following is for sure:
-
1 team match weekly (One 6-game set each: 1 men’s singles, 1 women’s singles, 1 men’s doubles, 1 women’s doubles, 2 mixed doubles.)
-
Only 2 courts required.
-
WTT scoring & rules (http://www.wtt.com/pages/rec-league-rules) please read through all rules and scoring.
-
One round robin with possible playoff. Goal is to get each team 5-6 team matches
-
Each team secures their own home courts (just like regular session play.)
-
Home team may provide music (please follow local facility rules)
-
Winning teams can advance to WTT National Qualifier.
-

-
All leagues are dependent on having enough teams register.
-
Summer leagues do not count for ratings purposes.
-
Each League team winner will receive a gift card for team party! (location TBD)
