Captains are the heart and soul of USTA Phoenix Leagues, and their dedication is what makes every season a success. These passionate volunteers go above and beyond, tirelessly building teams that foster camaraderie, fun, and fierce competition. As a USTA Phoenix League Captain, you’ll have access to a wealth of resources designed to support you every step of the way, whether you're strategizing from home or cheering on your team courtside. Your leadership is key to keeping the spirit of tennis alive, and we’re here to ensure you have everything you need to make each season your best one yet!

2025 Ch Yr Spring Season

Player Registration is open, and closes at noon on April 1, 2025.

​

​Match Start Dates:

  • 18 & Over, 40 & Over (Men/Women/Mixed): matches begin January 6, 2025 or later.

  • 55 & Over, 65 & Over (Men/Women): matches begin January 25, 2025 or later.

  • 70 & Over Women: Date TBD.

Tri Level Tournament

Scottsdale Ranch Park

April 25-27, 2025 (Friday play late afternoon/evening)

Three courts of Doubles. Three options:

  • En Fuego: 5.0 - 4.5 - 4.0

  • Picante: 4.5 - 4.0 - 3.5

  • Caliente: 4.0 - 3.5 - 3.0

Players may only participate on one team.

Need a player? Find a player! Request access to our Free Agent Player database and fill out your roster with eager tennis players. Make sure to filter and sort columns in the spreadsheet to players that fit your criteria.

Do you love tennis and want to lead a team? If you can:

- Communicate via email
- Use online resources
- Invite friends (and their friends!) to play
- Organize and update your team roster
- Read league emails
- Join our annual virtual captains’ meeting
- Create match line-ups
- Follow league rules
- Make friends and have fun

 

Then you’re ready to captain a USTA Phoenix League team! A great attitude and love for fun make it even better. Our Phoenix tennis community is welcoming, supportive, and always up for a good time!
