2026 Summer Recreation 
Non-Advancing

Player Registration open, closes Aug 17th, 2026​

SIX players or drop deadline is NOON May 1st, 2026

Format is 3 courts of doubles only

Matches begin as early as June 1st (possibly later)

Start times vary according to facility needs. We encourage 7:00pm or later for evening matches and 7am - 8:30am for morning matches whenever possible.

The summer heat in Phoenix is intense and often extreme. Players sign up with this knowledge. Matches won't be rescheduled due to heat. Players use their best judgement in allowing extra time for continuous play if needed. Safety first!

2027 Champ Yr Fall Early Start Season

IMPORTANT:

  • 55 & Over men's & women's leagues now use straight level NTRP: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, not combined NTRP: 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0.

 

  • All teams must maintain 60% of their rostered players at level. See our at-level chart. Some exemptions available.

TEAM DEADLINES

Team and player registration opens: NOON July 6

18/40/men/women/mixed team registration closes: NOON July 24th

55/65/70/men/women team registration closes: NOON Sept 1st

Teams may not drop or change the age or NTRP division after these dates.

RETURNING TEAMS - Court availability is limited at each facility. To keep your home court spot at any given facility,

- Captains of 18/40/men/women/mixed teams must submit their team ID request by NOON July 21st. Court space will be opened up to other teams after this deadline.

- Captains of 55/65/70/men/women teams must submit their team ID request by NOON AUG 28th.

PLAYER DEADLINES (viable team)

Teams that don't meet these minimum player deadlines are subject to deletion. Registered players will lose fees paid.

NOON July 27th

18&O/Men/Women - EIGHT players on roster

40&O/Men/Women - SEVEN players on roster

18&O/40&O/Mixed - SIX players on roster

NOON Sept 4th

55&O/65&O/70&O/Men/Women: SIX players on roster

 

All Player Registration closes November 28th

Matches begin as early as Aug 24th (may be later)

Last Match Deadlines TBA

The last date to have all regular season matches played will be announced by September 30th.

Tri Level Championships

Scottsdale Ranch Park

April 23-25, 2027 (Friday play late afternoon/evening)

Three courts of Doubles. Three options:

  • Hi Tri: 5.0 - 4.5 - 4.0

  • Mid Tri: 4.5 - 4.0 - 3.5

  • Low Tri: 4.0 - 3.5 - 3.0

**Players may only play for one team**

$64 (plus tennislink fee)

  • Team Registration opens March 1st, Closes April 9th

  • SIX player or drop deadline: April 12th

  • Player Registration closes April 14th!!

 

Match Tennis Team

We are using Match Tennis Team App for tournament management including line ups and score reporting. All players must download and register in Match Tennis Team app after registering in tennislink. Instructions will be sent with team number communication.

Need a player? Find a player! Request access to our Free Agent Player database and fill out your roster with eager tennis players. Make sure to filter and sort columns in the spreadsheet to players that fit your criteria.

Access to this list is for Captains and Co-Captains Only.  If you are forming a team and need more players, contact Jordan Witter (jwitter@southwest.usta.com) for the password.
