What is Impact Team Tennis?

Get ready for an exciting co-ed tennis tournament with Impact Team Tennis! This thrilling format includes 6 no-ad sets per team match played on 2 courts. Kick things off with a set of men's and women's doubles, followed by singles, and finish off the match with 2 sets of mixed doubles. The total games won across all sets determine the winner.  Substitutions, cheering and coaching are allowed to keep the energy high!

What is an ITT team?

A team must have at least three men and three women, ensuring everyone gets a chance to shine while enjoying some well-deserved rest!

Who can play?

Adults (18 & over) may sign up as a team or as an individual.

When do matches start?

Matches for Fall and Spring Tournaments may begin as early as 6pm on Friday evening.

Summer Tournament begins Thursday night

What Divisions (levels of play) are offered?

3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 and below

Determining Team Rating

The average NTRP rating of the top two men and top two women players on your team determines the team rating.

 Example:

 Joe- 4.5     Mary- 3.5

 Tom- 4.5    Jill-3.5

 Bill- 4.0      Gail- 3.5

 Joe- 4.5     Nancy- 3.5

 Jim- 3.5     Joan- 3.0

The top two NTRP rated men and top two NTRP rated women averaged:

4.5 man + 4.5 man + 3.5 woman + 3.5 woman = 16. 16 divided by 4 equals 4.0.

All other men must be 4.5 or lower.  All other women must be 3.5 or lower.

This team could register for the 4.0 division or a higher division. A team consists of a minimum of two men and two women. Although the limit to the number of team members is ten, the suggested number of players is 4 men and 4 women. Click here to determine your NTRP level.

Where do we play?

Each Tournament location is set independently and posted above.

Can I register as an individual/substitute/team?

Absolutely! You can register as an individual (and we’ll do our best to find you a team), with friends as a partial team, or as a full team.

Note to substitute players:

Subs may be permitted subject to NTRP rules.  Please request more information.

Why register via the Internet?

You are not an official league participant until you have accessed (or set up) your ITT account, linked your tennislink account, and completed registration.

What is the cost?

Varies by tournament, see details above.

League winners qualify for a Regional Championship?

Winning teams advance to the ITT Regional Championships. Your team is eligible to participate in a NQ for up to one year from the end date of your league. For every four (4) teams in any official Impact Team Tennis (ITT) local league division, one (1) team will be eligible to participate in Regional Championship.
